Blake Shelton has announced plans to open his third Ole Red entertainment venue in the East Tennessee mountain town of Gatlinburg. He wants to join the legend, Ms. Dolly Parton, over in of the biggest vacation spots in Tennessee! Plans are to have the venue open in spring of 2019. Ole Red Gatlinburg will be a $9 million, 16,000-square-foot entertainment venue that boasts a two-story bar and restaurant, with a retail area, performance space, dance floor and exterior terrace. Same as his other locations. The Nashville location on Lower Broadway is set to open in May and the location in his hometown of Tishomingo opened in September of last year! The restaurant will also feature a Shelton-inspired menu, including a few Nashville classics like Hot Chicken & Waffles and other Southern favorites.
During Wednesday’s (3/21) announcement of the Ole Red Gatlinburg venue, Blake talked about how it made perfect sense to put a location there. Blake said, “When you see the location and you learn where it is and it’s a possibility and it’s a…You know Gatlinburg…I mean, it’s a fun party town, but it’s kind of got obviously a country atmosphere and the next thing you know, this is a no-brainer.”
